BNI Western Pennsylvania was founded in April 1998 by Executive Directors Deanna and Bob Schmitt. Currently there are 31 chapters (See FIND A CHAPTER), with several forming in many different areas (see CHAPTERS FORMING).
Deanna and Bob Schmitt are Executive Directors for BNI Western Pennsylvania. Recognizing the potential to help businesses, the BNI Western Pennsylvania directors are working to develop chapters in 20 counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Venango, Warren, Washington, and Westmoreland.
In order to maintain a high level of support to members while developing new chapters BNI Western Pennsylvania has a team of Directors. This team is made up of members who embody BNI's givers gain philosophy. The Directors visit, educate and support other chapters and members while maintaining commitment to their own chapters.
