FOUNDERS AWARD 2005 CHAPTER
The Team Referrals BNI chapter in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is the recipient of the 2005 Founder’s Award. The 29-member chapter is a picture perfect BNI chapter. The chapter is almost 2 years old and the Leadership Teams have consistently been very positive and pro-active with as many as 11 members going to Leadership Team Training. They do all of the small, medium and big things right. This chapter is always eager to implement new programs like the Reciprocity Ring and mentoring for new members. This chapter is also a “Showcase Chapter” which means they run a perfect BNI meeting so forming chapters are sent to the Team Referrals BNI chapter to observe the BNI success system.

2005 Regional Conference
On January 27, 2005 Western Pennsylvania BNI held its first regional conference with a business expo, workshops and awards banquet.

2006 Leadership Team Training
The September 12th Leadership Team Training was a joint networking event with VisitPittsburgh (formerly the Greater Pittsburgh Convention & Visitors Bureau) held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh. Pictures from the 9/23 and 10/2 Leadership Team Training sessions are also shown.

Great BNI Pirate Night Thanks to ALLSTAR Denise Gove
BNI Pirate night on Thursday August 23rd was a huge hit. Hats off to Denise Gove of the Pittsburgh Pirates and BNI member in the Circle of Excellence Chapter. Denise worked hard to coordinate a fantastic event. Even though the Pirates lost, BNI members, friends and family had a great time.
The Greensburg BNI Chapter had the highest percentage of member attendance so those members were entered into a drawing to win the opportunity to throw out the first pitch. How fitting it was that current President, Dr. Brian Smith of Smith Chiropractic in Penn Hills, won the toss. As he is experiencing a home run season/term in his chapter, he selected Doug Comin of BP Insurance in Ligonier to catch the first pitch. What a symbolic handoff as Doug is the incoming President.

International Networking Day 2007
International Networking Day™ was held in Pittsburgh on February 6, 2007. Over 250 people participated in a lively and productive networking activity and heard keynote speaker Scott Ginsberg.

June 22 2006 Member Extravaganza
The 2006 Member Extravaganza celebration was held at Jimmy G's (Owner Jim Guenther, Network Connections BNI) on June 22, 2006. The drawings for the winners of the all-expense paid trip to Mexico was held and Davin Hope from the Brian Tracy organization presented.
